But remember, it's not all about being BETTER.Remember every person has something to give. I can think of a ton of guys who are way better than me.

I would say that I have a particular style that some tend to like and I have a particular teaching style that some like and some don't. Quote from: GospelMusicians on April 29, 2008, 09:03:14 PM I wouldn't consider me one of the best. And.remember on the Urban Worship Xtreme, where my theory was lacking, I added sheet music, and the names of the chords on the screen. What I say is this: If you know theory, then use it and apply patterns to what I am saying. So the 20% are bored and want theory, whereas if I was all theory, then the 80% are lost. Please note that it is very difficult to do a DVD when 80% of the people who purchase, don't now theory at all.

So you can see that I, Jamal Hartwell, too am learning along with everyone else. In the beginning I had no theory and now, I am actually coming out with a DVD that teaches the number system. One thing about theory, is that I have grown a lot. If your ears love my style then praise God :-D. It's just that I've been playing a while and a few people love my style and some could care less about it.
